Why puns are the best... and the worst. We all know that one person, the one who has an endless arsenal of puns and will deploy them before you even know what hits you. Sometimes you laugh, sometimes you roll your eyes, but those cheesy words will stick with you. And that is the beauty of a pun. They are disruptive, and much like Christmas songs in July, they are bound to get stuck in your head.
The dirty secret of puns is that people like them when they’re terrible as much as they do when they’re great.
This can help when you are trying to be memorable in a sea of messaging. But don't let the pun become the focus and overshadow the brand.
